Company Description

The INN was founded in 1983 as a single soup kitchen run by a small group of concerned volunteers. The INN (Interfaith Nutrition Newtork) is a not-for-profit, volunteer-based organization that addresses the issues of hunger and homelessness on Long Island by providing food, shelter, long-term housing and supportive services in a dignified and respectful manner to those who required assistance. The dedicated staff and broad base of community support assist the volunteers in maintaining the 19 soup kitchens, three homeless shelters, and 25 long-term housing apartments owned and operated by The INN.
