The firm targets (1) divisions of larger companies that are no longer core to the parent's strategy (2) owner-managed companies needing liquidity and (3) entrepreneurial companies where the founders seek active partners to help them grow.ACP invests in companies with: (1) revenues of $3 million to $50 million (2) positive cash flow (3) unique products that have not been fully exploited (4) market leadership in a focused niche with significant growth prospects (5) revenue growth opportunities through new customer relationships, new distribution channels and/or expansion into new markets and (6) strong functional management teams with in-depth domain knowledge.ACP provides equity capital through a committed fund, Axia Capital Partners LP, and through a network of high net-worth individuals who co-invest in the firm's deals. Typical equity investments range from $1 million to $5 million. The firm seeks to leverage their equity investments with debt financing were appropriate. If additional capital is required, ACP can syndicate a larger financing through their relationships with other private equity firms and debt financing resources.
