Heronbridge is an active, long-only, value-biased boutique which employs a long-only equity approach, covering both large and small-cap companies without reference to company or industry sector size, aiming to achieve returns meaningfully ahead of inflation, and of equity markets in general.The firm constructs a wholly unconstrained portfolio with no reference to a benchmark. They are bottom-up stock pickers which conduct in-house, fundamental research to identify a select number of attractively-valued, credible businesses which they believe offer the best potential long-term investment returns. Their aim is to grow the intrinsic value of the portfolio (measured by earnings, dividends and net assets) on the basis that share-price performance will reflect the progress of these metrics over time.Heronbridge is a specialist in identifying undervalued stocks and combining them in a diversified portfolio. They aim to maximize long-term returns by thinking as owners of businesses, focusing on maximizing the portfolio’s underlying cash generation and maintaining a fully-invested portfolio at all times, with no borrowing or short selling.
