The Energy Project energizes people and transforms companies, offering a detailed blueprint for fueling a fully engaged workforce. Drawing on the multidisciplinary science of high performance, we do this at three levels: We train people to perform sustainably at the highest levels by more skillfully managing their energy across four dimensions: physical, emotional, mental and spiritual to develop actionable strategies that help them to become more energized, focused and productive. We teach leaders to become Chief Energy Officers, who mobilize, inspire, focus, direct and regularly recharge the energy of those they lead. We partner with companies to help them better meet the core needs of their employees, so they’re freed, fueled and inspired to bring the best of themselves to work every day. Demand is exceeding our capacity. Time is the resource we’ve traditionally relied on to get more done. The problem with time is that it’s finite, and most of us no longer have additional hours left to invest at work. Energy, by contrast, can be expanded and regularly renewed. Drawing on the multidisciplinary science of high performance, The Energy Project has developed a set of simple principles and highly actionable practices for more effectively managing energy to drive higher levels of engagement, productivity, and innovation. Our clients range from companies such as Google, Coca Cola, Target, Sony, Ernst & Young, and Pfizer to organizations such as the Los Angeles Police Department, the Cleveland Clinic, Kipp Schools and many others.

OCM uses fundamental analysis and may engage in long term or short term purchases, trading, short sales in certain strategies, margin transactions, and option writing, including covered options, uncovered options or spreading strategies. They manage assets across a wide range of investment strategies within four asset classes: credit, private equity, real assets and listed equities. The firm provides overall discretionary management for accounts within six asset classes: Distressed Debt, Corporate Debt, Control Investing, Convertible Securities, Real Estate, and Listed Equities. OCM's research revolves around enumerating the elements required and identifying investment candidates through which they seek to satisfy those requirements.

BFM utilizes fixed-income strategies that are actively managed, model or index based. Actively managed fixed-income mandates generally employ an active investment style that emphasizes rotation among different types of debt on a relative value basis, specific security selection, quantitative analysis of each security and the portfolio as a whole and intensive credit analysis and review. They utilize a risk-controlled, systematic process for portfolio construction and alpha generation. Alpha sources may include security selection, duration and yield curve positioning, industry rotation, asset allocation, and currency positioning. BFM's equity platform includes a broad range of products that vary according to investment style (active, scientific and passive management), market-cap (small-, mid-, small/mid-, large- and all-cap), and geography (global, international and regional). The product range may also include sector funds, long-only and long-short portfolios, as well as products that combine different strategies to create balanced and asset allocation portfolios. For cash management portfolios, the investment process emphasizes safety and liquidity over yield. Their alternative mandates focus on sourcing and managing high-alpha investments with lower correlation to public markets and developing a holistic approach to address client needs in alternatives investing.

GSO Capital Partners provides investment advice with respect to investments in first lien loans, second lien loans, high yield bonds, distressed securities, mezzanine securities, public and private equity, and derivatives. The firm seeks to capitalize on both long- and short-term inefficiencies in the market by investing across a spectrum of products, often employing a bottom-up analysis, utilizing market technical and fundamental analyses to select investments. There may be occasions when a strategy may be weighted to deep value or be more opportunistic and seek short term gains. GSO's investment strategies include: Senior Direct Lending, Mezzanine, Capital Solutions, Event Driven, and Energy. The firm's Senior Direct Lending Strategy seeks to source and provide privately originated investments that can deliver attractive risk-adjusted returns with strong downside protection, while generating current income through primarily stable, performing credit investments. The strategy focuses on investments that are senior in the capital structure and with a majority of investments secured by floating rate instruments. The firm's Event Driven Strategy seeks to generate superior risk-adjusted returns by investing in an array of securities within the corporate credit market. GSO may invest in both public and private non-investment grade and non-rated securities, including leveraged loans, high yield bonds, distressed securities, common and preferred equity securities, and credit derivatives. The firm offers exposure to this strategy in a hedged, liquid and less concentrated form, or in an un-hedged and more concentrated form, often with less liquidity and greater potential risk.GSO's Mezzanine Strategy makes privately negotiated investments in the leveraged finance marketplace with an emphasis on providing junior capital to companies in connection with LBOs, acquisitions, recapitalizations and growth financings. The firm's Capital Solutions Strategy seeks to provide privately negotiated capital solutions to companies in need of liquidity or capital structure transformation due to, among other things, pending covenant violations, debt maturities, cyclical downturns in their businesses or other funding requirements.GSO's Energy Strategy is designed to generate attractive risk-adjusted returns by originating and investing in transactions in the energy sector and various energy sub-sectors across the capital structure, primarily in debt and preferred equity.
