Company Description

East End Neighborhood House is dedicated to the mission of compassionately providing culturally-based integrated social services, leadership development, and healthy activities that nurture & affirm our community's individuals and families -- children through seniors-- to become self sufficient and ultimately thrive. East End Neighborhood House (East End) has been a vital anchor of the Buckeye, Woodland-Hills community for one hundred and seven years. In most recent years, because East End is a lead agency for various county wide collaboratives, services extend to families living on Kinsman Road, the Mount Pleasant community, other areas of greater Cleveland and neighboring suburbs. Services include but are not limited to early childhood education; after school-summer and winter youth programming; parent support and preventive services that help families who are systems connected and nurtures family independence to avoid system involvement; senior day care inclusive of home delivered meals to those unable to attend the center; and nationally recognized volunteer program to strengthen intergenerational activities between children and seniors for academic success. Additionally, local street clubs, various alcoholic anonymous groups utilize East End space welcoming community neighbors.
