PPM uses a variety of methods of analysis in formulating investment advice and/or managing client assets. Fundamental and technical in-house research underpins the firm’s analysis of current or potential investments. The firm utilizes a team-based approach to manage the assets of the portfolio. They also implement client investment strategies primarily through designated portfolio management teams focused on particular asset classes, including fixed income, bank loans, private debt, public equity and private equity.

LKCM is an active, long-term manager which aims to invest in high quality businesses that they believe will produce consistent, repeatable and superior risk-adjusted returns. The firm offers several equity, fixed income and alternative investment approaches, which are generally available through separately managed portfolios, the LKCM Funds, LKCM partnerships and single-investment partnerships. Their Core, Small-Cap and Small-Mid Cap Equity strategy seeks to achieve its investment objective through fundamental analysis of individual companies and seeks high quality companies. LKCM’s fixed income strategy seeks to achieve its investment objective by typically investing in investment grade corporate fixed income securities, fixed income securities issued or guaranteed by the US Government, its agencies or instrumentalities, and/or municipal fixed income securities.

TAM formulates their investment advice by using different methods of analysis including fundamental analysis; multi-factor analysis; quantitative analysis; qualitative analysis; technical analysis; charting; cyclical analysis; and mutual fund and/or ETF analysis. Their investment strategies include long-term purchases; short-term purchases; and American depositary receipts.
