Majors include, but are not limited to: *Accounting *Earth Science *Economics *Music *Philosophy *Sociology *Chemistry If youd like to prepare for the workplace, you can also cultivate skills in Industrial Technology, Medicine, Art, Physical Therapy, Education, Engineering, and Foreign Languages. The university also offers Master's degrees in more than 13 programs, such as Biology, English, Environmental Studies, Mathematics, Education, Science, Technology and more. Since the campus is located on the western shore of Lake Bemidji, the university offers unique recreational programs and activities like kayaking, canoeing, sailing, mountain biking, and camping. There are also a variety of fitness activities available to any student, like yoga, weight lifting, and rock climbing. Weekend and semester break trips are also available at discounted student prices. Bemidji State University offers financial aid to qualifying students through grants, student employment, and a wide variety of loans and scholarships. Student life is mixed, as campus housing is available but freshmen are not required to live on campus. A meal plan is also offered, but is not mandatory.
