U.S. Stock Sell Off Makes Emerging Market Rout Look Orderly
The MSCI Emerging Markets index is off 1.4%, continuing last week’s slide, its worst in more than a year. But compared to its global counterparts, that sell-off looks relatively moderate.
Both emerging markets equities and bonds are outperforming U.S. and global market counterparts. The Dow Jones Industrial Average was off 430 points recently, down 1.7% recently at 25,086.
