Toys R Us and Maplin collapse rattles the City
TOYS R Us and Maplin fell into administration yesterday, putting more than 5,000 jobs at risk.
Toys R Us called in Moorfields to handle its collapse after it was unable to pay a £15m VAT bill, and Maplin was forced into administration after sale talks collapse.
