'They were loved, they were someone, they were human'
LAREDO, Texas - It started with a tweet Saturday from Webb County District Attorney Isidro Alaniz.
He announced a veteran U.S. Border Patrol supervisor had been arrested on a string of charges, including four counts of murder.
Colette Mireles' sister, Claudine Ann Luera, was among the dead.
The news spread quickly.
Within hours, news services around the world were identifying all the victims - including Luera - as prostitutes.
It was painful to hear.
