State board votes to probe Pureval's campaign expenses
COLUMBUS - Did congressional candidate Aftab Pureval break state election law by using money from his local race campaign on his federal one?
That question wasn't answered Thursday, but the Ohio Election Commission says it's worth further investigation.
In a 6-1 vote, the group that polices state election laws said they wanted to probe expenses from Pureval's Hamilton County Clerk of Courts campaign account.
