Jonathan Pollard was driven from a federal court in New York on Friday after a probation check-in. Earlier, he was freed from prison after serving 30 years for spying for Israel.

WASHINGTON — Jonathan J. Pollard, the American convicted of spying for Israel, walked out of prison early Friday after 30 years, but the Obama administration had no plans to let him leave the country and move to Israel and his lawyers immediately went to court to challenge his parole conditions.
