Shareholders move to scupper pirate raid
A group of shareholders in two pirate-themed companies that have been suspended from trading on the Australian Securities Exchange are attempting to block a proposed takeover by a third related company listed on the Newcastle stock exchange.
ASX-listed investment companies Henry Morgan and Benjamin Hornigold are each the subject of a controversial bid by John Bridgeman, the Newcastle-listed management firm. All of the companies are named after infamous pirates.
