San Jose unicorn joins growing list of companies testing IPO waters
MapR reportedly is preparing for an IPO, joining a growing list of Bay Area companies getting set to go public this year.
Bloomberg cited unnamed sources Wednesday afternoon who said the San Jose-based company hired underwriters for an initial public offering. The company did not immediately respond to a request by the Silicon Valley Business Journal for comment.
