Productivity growth slumps to 'dismal' levels in third quarter
PRODUCTIVITY growth slumped again to "dismal" levels in the third quarter of last year, falling to a level just one tenth of that seen before the financial crisis.
Productivity - the average amount one worker produced in an hour - rose just 0.2pc between July and September compared with the same period in 2017.
