Police search for man who cashed out $10K from stolen, forged check

A man allegedly cashed out almost $10,000 from a forged check that was stolen.
According to authorities, officers received a report saying that on Sept. 28, a bank representative informed a 22-year-old Queens man that an unknown person had withdrawn nearly $9,861 from his bank account by using one of his checks.
Investigation showed the person had stolen the victims check after he mailed it out.
