Police Chief blames shooting of 11-year-old on judges who set low bonds
A bullet struck an 11-year-old boy on Wednesday, Houston Police Chief Art Acevedo said.
A homicide suspect who had been released from jail on bond allegedly fired the bullet, according to Acevedo, during the incident that was reported about 12:45 p.m. at the Wesley Square Apartments sited at 7402 Calhoun Road in southern Houston.
