Poles chided over death of conspiracy theorist

Polish police who handled the death of a British conspiracy theorist were "wholly incompetent", a coroner said.

Maxwell Bates-Spiers, widely known as Max Spiers, died at the age of 39 in Warsaw in July 2016 after taking a combination of prescription drugs while he had pneumonia, an inquest in Sandwich, Kent, found. He was in Poland to speak at a conference.
