Pho 79 is first OC restaurant to win prestigious award

Pho 79, a humble noodle house in Little Saigon, is the first Orange County restaurant to win a prestigious James Beard Foundation Award, often referred to as “the Oscars of the food world.”

“It’s like a dream come true to us,” said Mai Tran, a member of the family who owns the restaurant.
