Oregon cannabis industry leader: State market solid, but enforcement could tighten

An Oregon cannabis industry leader left a Friday "summit" called by U.S. Attorney Billy Williams believing the chief federal law enforcement official in the state "does not appear to be inclined to shut down the regulated market."

In a memo to the Oregon Cannabis Association mailing list, attorney Amy Margolis said it was her judgment that Williams is, however, "extremely interested in ensuring that participants in both the (recreational) and (medical) programs follow the law."
