Oakland demonstrators face off with police on third night of George Floyd protests

Protests resumed in Oakland on Sunday as demonstrators faced off with police, who formed a blockade across Broadway and shadowed the crowd as it moved through the downtown area waving signs and shouting slogans.

Chants of, "Say his name - George Floyd," rang out as the crowd began massing around 6 p.m. on the corner 14th Street and Broadway, a reference to the African American man who died in Minneapolis after a police officer knelt on his neck for nine minutes Monday.
