Nine out of 10 back right to die, poll finds
MORE than 90 per cent of the UK's population believe assisted dying should be made legal for those suffering from terminal illnesses, according to an opinion poll.
A survey carried out by My Death, My Decision, the campaign group, also found that 88 per cent thought it was acceptable for dementia sufferers to receive help to end their lives, provided they had consented before losing their mental capacity.
