Stacey R. Friedman, general counsel of JPMorgan Chase & Co.'s corporate and investment bank, will succeed Steve Cutler as general counsel of the firm early next year. Cutler will become vice chairman. Friedman will report to Cutler and act as his deputy for the rest of this year, and she will join the firmwide operating committee next year. Both report to CEO Jamie Dimon.
