Licking Heights won't wait to build new high
The Licking Heights school district intends to use a legal exemption to begin building its new high school this week, after the city of Pataskala's zoning board halted the project before it got started.
It's already more than two months behind schedule.
The district's goal still is to open the 259,000-square-foot high school in the 2020-21 school year, next to the old one at 4000 Mink St. SW in Pataskala. The 16-year-old high school will be converted into a middle school, Wagner said...
