Johnson's 'do or die' Brexit pledge must overcome parliamentary obstacle course
Dominic Cummings, Boris Johnson's chief strategist, has suggested that there is now no way to stop a no-deal Brexit on Oct 31.
Matt Hancock, the Health Secretary, supported that theory yesterday, saying his view had changed after Remainer MPs were defeated in trying to block no deal in a series of votes last month. A Government spokesman also reiterated that Britain would leave the EU on Hallowe'en "whatever the circumstances".
