Insolvency to be on menu for many restaurants

BRITAIN is likely to suffer a wave of restaurants going bust later this year as costs to cope with the Covid-19 pandemic rack up, accountancy firm UHY Hacker Young has said.

The casual dining sector, which was already under pressure before the virus hit, is expected to face further pain, with "big upcoming bills" on the horizon, UHY said.
