In US Senate race, signs of a gap emerge
Unlike the tight races on the rest of Ohio's statewide ballot, the matchup for U.S. Senate has both candidates insisting it's not over, but their actions belie their words.
On the one hand, Republican U.S. Rep. Jim Renacci of Wadsworth points to an internal poll showing 17 percent of voters remain undecided. On the other, Renacci still hadn't spent the $4 million he loaned to his campaign as of Friday, and he would not commit to doing so.
