Ideas fly in Guthries Frankenstein: Playing with Fire. Sparks? Not so much.

In the bicentennial year of Mary Shelleys novel and the 30th anniversary of Barbara Fields stage adaptation, the Guthrie Theater is re-animating the classic story of Victor Frankenstein and his creation. Its a worthwhile effort, though uncertain in tone and cool to the touch.
