WASHINGTON, May 15 -- The House Financial Services Committee issued a report (H.Rpt. 116-57) on legislation (H.R. 1500) to require the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau to meet its statutory purpose. The report was advanced by Rep. Maxine Waters, D-California, on May 10.
