Since we are living in the "post-truth" era, we must understand the definition of "fake news."
Hint: It isn't President Trump's definition.
Like some of his supporters, Trump defines "fake news" as "anything I don't like." Therefore, all stories about, say, dealings between Trump, his campaign team or administration members and Russia are "fake news." From there, Trump extrapolates to describe media outlets that report such stories as "fake news."
