Head of U.S. Olympic Committee resigns
Scott Blackmun is leaving his post as CEO of the United States Olympic Committee, the organization announced on Wednesday.
Blackmun will resign because of health issues related to prostate cancer, according to a statement. Susanne Lyons, an independent member of the committee's board of directors, will take over as acting chief executive.
