Gun control causegains momentum
Democratic presidential candidate Beto O'Rourke invoked the civil rights movement Monday - specifically the young activists who led it - to spearhead a new mass movement to force Washington to take action on gun control.
"They are going to force this change," O'Rourke said of young people. "They get it perhaps better than anyone else. And so I'm optimistic, believe it or not. I'm more hopeful than I've ever been, given the challenge we face, this moment of peril."
