Groups challenge Resolution 19 Bill would make it harder to put amendments to Constitution on ballot
Columbus — Nearly 90 groups signed a letter that was hand-delivered to lawmakers and Gov. John Kasich on Tuesday, asking the Ohio General Assembly to defeat a measure that would make it harder to get constitutional amendments and initiated statutes on the ballot.
The fight against House Joint Resolution 19 will be a challenge, as it appears to be flying through the House during the final weeks of the legislative session.
