Gains in house prices shrink

Southern California house prices are starting to level off, with gains in Los Angeles County and the Inland Empire shrinking to the smallest level in more than three years, figures from CoreLogic’s Home Price Index for October show.

In Orange County, appreciation rates decreased to the lowest level in nearly two years.
