Fund our government, not Trump s wall
When the new Congress convenes, it needs to immediately pass legislation to fund government functions without money for the border wall. Then, assuming Trump vetoes the funding bill, which seems inevitable, the Congress must stiffen its collective back and override that veto, fund the government and move on.
Of course, Trump must be reminded that he promised during the 2016 campaign that Mexico would pay for the wall. His words. Let him eat them as a garnish on his next cheeseburger.
