Fulton Telephone holds special ceremony to kick-start internet service
Fulton Telephone Company customers will soon have access to high-speed internet service.
The company held a special ceremony Tuesday afternoon at the Caffeinated Indian, a coffee shop in Fulton.
With a push of a button, U.S. Sen. Roger Wicker brought high-speed internet service to the coffee shop.
Gov. Phil Bryant signed House Bill 366 in January giving the states electric cooperatives the legal authority to offer high-speed internet service.
