Meru Networks Inc. (MERU) has agreed to a sale to Fortinet Inc. (FTNT), which emerged from an activist-inspired sale process as the victor despite Dell Inc., Avaya Inc. and CommScope Inc. (COMM) and other technology heavyweights taking a look at the struggling wireless network provider.
