FERC clears Berkshire Hathaway Energy's deal for Texas wind project

The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission approved Berkshire Hathaway Energy's proposed acquisition of membership interests in the Blue Cloud wind project in Lamb and Bailey counties, Texas.
Under the deal, Berkshire Hathaway Energy subsidiary MidAmerican Wind Tax Equity will acquire the interest in the 148-MW project in exchange for funding its construction from Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners K/S. Financial and other terms were not disclosed.
