EPA ordered to turn over director's e-mails

A federal judge in California has ordered Andrew Wheeler, the acting director of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, who grew up in Hamilton, to turn over thousands of e-mails between Trump administration officials and people outside the administration with links to industry.

By doing so, U.S. Magistrate Judge Elizabeth D. Laporte sided with the Sierra Club, which filed a Freedom of Information Act request, asking for the e-mails.
