Chicago mayoral candidates Paul Vallas and Amara Enyia held news conferences Monday morning to call on a local TV station to allow more candidates into a televised debate later this week.
WFLD-Ch. 32 is airing a two-hour forum Thursday evening with City Hall veteran Gery Chico, former U.S. Commerce Secretary Bill Daley, Illinois Comptroller Susana Mendoza, Cook County Board President Toni Preckwinkle and businessman Willie Wilson.
The other nine candidates in the race are excluded.
