Don't put flash crash trader in jail, says US

THE "Hound of Hounslow" trader blamed for a $1 trillion stock market flash crash should be spared jail, US authorities have said.

British citizen Navinder Singh Sarao deserves leniency because he has shown "extraordinary co-operation", has autism and his mental health could suffer in prison, the US Department of Justice told a Chicago court.
