Daytona Beach Armed Career Criminal Sentenced

U.S. District Judge Paul G. Byron has sentenced James Joseph Bryant (49, Daytona Beach) to 10 years in federal prison for possessing a firearm as a convicted felon. Due to his multiple prior felony convictions, Bryant qualified for an increased penalty under the Armed Career Criminal Act. The court also ordered Bryant to forfeit the 9mm pistol and ammunition used during the offense.

Bryant had pleaded guilty on September 24, 2018.
