Dakota Access Pipeline: Final part of project might get approved

(CNN) -- The 1,172-mile Dakota Access Pipeline is nearly complete, except for a hotly contested portion under the Missouri River that's been the focus of massive protests.

Now, depending on whom you ask, that last part of the pipeline could be on the road to completion.
