Cousins describes Kings as 'Cowardly'
SACRAMENTO, Calif. - Sacramento Kings general manager Vlade Divac declined to engage DeMarcus Cousins in a public debate after the All-Star center called Divac and Kings majority owner Vivek Ranadive "cowardly" for their handling of his trade this week to the New Orleans Pelicans.
In an article published on theundefeated.com, Cousins said he was assured by Kings officials three weeks earlier he would not be traded.
"When (the trade) happened, I was just in shock," Cousins said.
