CLASH moves on, drops lawsuit against Cleveland City Clerk

Members of Cleveland Lead Advocates for Safe Housing dropped a lawsuit they filed in June that asked a judge to order the city clerk to accept petitions the group had submitted to the city.

The group, known as CLASH, suspended a new petition drive last month after the City Council passed a lead-poisoning prevention ordinance with many of the elements the group thought were important.
