SIR PHILIP Green has appointed famous businesswoman Karren Brady to chair the parent company of his Arcadia retail empire.
Brady is chief executive of West Ham United football club and is also well-known for her role in The Apprentice alongside Amstrad founder Alan Sugar.
She now assumes the role of non-executive director of Taveta, which owns Arcadia. She succeeds Anthony Grabiner, who has been with the company for 15 years.
