SICK children will be turned away from A&E at two London hospitals throughout the winter to enable them to focus on treating adults with Covid.

The paediatric A&E at the Royal Free in Hampstead will close at the end of the month. The children's casualty unit at University College London Hospital in Bloomsbury will remain closed, having shut to under 18s in March.
