sir - What madness is this? MPs voted to invoke Article 50 knowing full well that it might involve, if necessary, leaving the EU without a deal.

Yet on Theresa May's rudderless ship, even ministers are able to ignore their own manifesto and defy a three-line whip to take this option off the table. The Prime Minister, her Cabinet, her Government, the Conservative Party and Parliament have totally lost the plot.
