Bus company wins $5.5m battle against bid advisers

Corporate advisory firm Pitcher Partners has been ordered to pay almost $5.5 million to a bus company after making a crucial mistake in a tender bid for a government contract.

Federal Court judge David O'Callaghan also found the firm had discovered the error and fraudulently concealed it, which he said justified the awarding of damages in deceit.
