PARLIAMENT yesterday wrestled control of the Brexit process away from the government as Theresa May suffered a controversial Commons ambush.

Following a highly contentious decision by Commons speaker John Bercow, MPs ruled that May must return with a Brexit "Plan B" within three days of a defeat on her deal.
